He is a London-based producer and mixing and mastering engineer whose work spans both artist-driven and media-focused productions.
What truly sets Dom apart is his deeply musical approach to mixing. All you need to know!
Nope! This is a one-time purchase course. You enroll once and have access for life!
Yes, absolutely, and I’ll keep making juicy mixing tutorials on YouTube where I share bite-size tips, tricks, and ideas.
But YouTube is not the place for a nearly 10 hour, full, start-to-finish Mixing Masterclass.
In this Masterclass, I take you through the entire process step by step, so you do not just pick up random tricks, but truly understand how to mix a song from scratch with clarity, confidence, and musical intention.
It is the difference between watching short tips… and learning a complete mixing system you can apply to every track you work on.
I want you to know EXACTLY what you're getting before you enroll in my Masterclass. So I have all the chapters public for you to check before you commit. Have a look here and see what's covered!
It helps to have a basic understanding of tools like EQ, compression, and limiting, as this course is not about explaining what those tools are from scratch.
Instead, the focus is on showing you how to use them properly in a real-world mix, so you can make better decisions and get more professional results.
In this Mixing Masterclass, I use a combination industry standard plugins and stock Cubase plugins.
Manufacturers include Softube, Universal Audio (UAD), SSL, Oeksound, Plugin Alliance, TC Electronic, Waves, Valhalla, Eventide, IK Multimedia, Pulsar and more.
In this masterclass I don't teach plugins though- I teach mixing workflows so you don't need to own any of the plugins I use.
This Mixing Masterclass is taught entirely in the box, which means I do not use any analog gear during the course. I chose this approach very deliberately, so the techniques, workflow, and results are accessible to everyone, regardless of setup.
The focus is on showing you how to build a powerful, polished, professional mix using tools that any modern producer or engineer can apply straight away.
And for those interested in the analog side of things, I may create a Hybrid Analog Mixing Masterclass in the future, similar to what I’ve done with mastering.
Yes, absolutely.
You can follow this Masterclass step by step even if you’re relatively new to mixing. A little familiarity with tools like EQ, compression, and limiting will help, as the course focuses on how to use them in a real-world mix.
If you already have experience, it will help you refine your workflow and take your mixes further.
The Mixing Masterclass teaches you how to build the song: balancing elements, shaping drums and low end, placing vocals, creating depth and width, and making the mix sound polished, powerful, and cohesive.
The Mastering Masterclasses focus on the final stereo mix: refining tone, dynamics, loudness, translation, and preparing the track for release.
So the Mastering Masterclasses are a natural progression after the Mixing Masterclass, once you know how to build a strong mix from the ground up.
No, you do not need Cubase to follow the course!
Although I teach in Cubase, the Masterclass is built around mixing principles, workflow, and decision-making that apply across any DAW. I also make it easy to follow by showing workspaces clearly throughout the course, so you can focus on the techniques and apply them in your own setup, whether you use Cubase, Logic, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Studio One, or anything else.
Yes! The multitrack of the song mixed in this masterclass are included for all members so you can practice your mixing skills as you go!
Dom Sigalas has been working as a mastering engineer for professional studios worldwide and has been hosting private and public masterclasses for music production and audio engineering all over the world
